    Hello Cool Dog Lovers:

At Cool Dog Hall of Fame, we are always trying to bring you the latest, funniest and most informative dog related stories.

We are very proud of the job that our former two major contributors to the blog, Carlotta and Stormy have done.
Below is some information that Carlotta and Stormy provided us with, as they were part of the Cool Dog blog family.carlotta.jpg"I've been involved with animals my whole life. My first memory is holding my little black kitten named Midnight. We had an Irish Setter when I was growing up and my dad hunted with Irish Setters, English Setters and Pointers. We also had horses — my first love. I still adore horses. I got my first English Setter in 1987. I started showing English Setters in 1994 and started breeding them in 1996. I'm a contributing editor for the weekly show magazine Dog News and I also write a blog about English Setters for the internet magazine TopShowDogs.com. I currently have six English Setters ranging in age from 12 weeks to 12 years old. I'm interested in all aspects of dog care and health, particularly genetics and improving our dogs' health for the future. Mostly I just love dogs. My dogs are my family and I can't imagine living without them. They've been here for me through everything, and I'm here for them."

    Stormy's:

"I was born in 1946 in northern British Columbia, Canada. My love affair with dogs began at age three. I crawled into a dog house where a big old dog lay sleeping. He moved over to make room for me. I remember the sound of his heart beating. I curled up between his huge front paws, he rested his heavy head on me, and we slept. It was beautiful!

I have worked with the SPCA, trained therapy dogs to visit seniors, operated a kennel raising registered Pomeranian dogs. I have written extensively about dogs, and other animals. I don't profess to be an expert on dogs. I do admit to having an unusually strong bond with animals, especially dogs. Hurt or stray dogs seem to find their way to my door. At times it is a heartbreaking task. However, to save one dog from a life of despair and pain, makes it all worth while. Dogs continue to educate and amaze me, with their loyalty, patience, intelligence and courage. I am humbled by their love and devotion to mankind. In my eyes, all dogs wear a golden cloak of greatness."

Behind the scene at Cool Dog Hall of Fame there are some great dog lovers that would go the extra mile for our furry friends.

    Thank you for your support,

    Dr. Alfonso
